What size U-bolts do I need to attach the extensions to my chain link fence?Updated a month ago
The Dog Proofer Fence Extension Systems can accept U-bolts between 1-⅝” and 2-½” wide.
While a 1-⅜” U-bolt will fit into the mounting brackets on both systems, it does not leave enough room for the washer and nut to be tightened since the extension tubing is 1-⅜" in diameter.
Two U-bolts are needed per extension, and we sell them in sets of two:

While U-bolts are readily available at most hardware stores, they are not always available in large quantities. So, we stock the most common sizes of U-bolts, as seen below.
