Can this be installed on hills or slopes?Updated 2 months ago
Our Freestanding DIY Dog Fence System can be installed on a slope or hill with a couple of minor installation adjustments. We recommend that a post is set at each change in slope, so if your slope is relatively consistent, you'll have to set one post at the top and another at the bottom. Then, additional posts can be set in between those "ends" at the standard spacing of no more than 9' apart. If there are multiple changes in slope, then a post should be set at each slope change.
After all the posts are set, you will install the mesh fence material. On the sloped sections, you want to run the mesh at the same angle in between those "end" posts. This means that you will have some extra waste to cut off the roll:
The mesh fence material should essentially start and stop at any post where a change in slope occurs - depicted in the top diagram by different colors.
