The standard kits include the parts and materials for setting your fence posts into soft ground (lawn, dirt, gravel, etc.). However, if you have part of the fence that requires a post to be anchored to a concrete patio or sidewalk, this is possible with a special-order component called a footpad.

A footpad has a flat bottom plate that is anchored to the concrete surface with masonry screws. There is a vertical tube welded to the bottom plate which will hold the fence post in place.
